Childrens Complex Care Assistant

Hours: Full time/part time, 7am to 3pm, or 3pm to 11pm

Salary: £14 to £14.50 plus mileage

Location: Salford

We are looking for dedicated caring, compassionate individuals to support children and young adults with complex needs across the whole of Manchester. The role will include visiting clients within their own homes & supporting them with activities out in the community.

The role - What you’ll be doing

• This role will range from providing compassionate care right through to personal care
• Complex care needs including peg management, Learning disabilities, SEN, cerebral palsy
• Supporting service users within their home, and with activities in the community
• Safeguarding service users following company procedure and policies
• Carry out tasks and implementing care in line with individual care plans
• Providing person centred care to individuals engaged with
• Build trusting, professional relationships with service users
• Promoting physical and emotional wellbeing
• Access to a vehicle as travel is required across Salford and greater Manchester

What we’re looking for:

• Must drive and have access to a vehicle
• Must be available to work alternative weekends or one weekend day each week
• Dedicated, caring, punctual and driven with a positive attitude
• Reliability, trustworthiness and Punctuality
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Complex care experience would be beneficial
• DBS Payment Scheme available
