Sign in or register for an accountNotice is hereby given pursuant to Sections 122(1) and 122(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, Salford City Council intends to appropriate to planning purposes, land approximately 0.89 acres used as public open space, to facilitate residential development by the Council for transfer on to Derive.
The open space land is bounded by allotments to the north, Tootal Grove to the east, the M602 to the south and Stott Lane Football fields to the west and is shown edged red on the deposited plan, which may be inspected at the Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays, and also on the Salford City Council’s website on this page.
Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and sent to Annie Jackson Development Surveyor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5AS or to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk so as to be received no later than 12 May 2024. Please quote reference L/AF/SCC002/04226.
