Student placement programme

The student placement programme matches aspirational students and graduates who have a skill shortage. This FREE to business programme works with committed students and graduates who want to further their employability in a specific business or industry sector.

Funded students and graduate internships

The University of Salford has partnered with Santander to offer internship opportunities to SMEs. Up to £1,500 can be offered to eligible business. If you are interested in the funded students and graduate internship scheme email: business@salford.ac.uk or telephone 0161 295 0023.

Offer to employers

The University of Salford works with employers to connect them to higher education students and graduates. The University provides employers with:

• opportunities to meet and inspire students and graduates to recognise and explore specific occupations
• opportunities to promote specific employment opportunities to students and graduates using an online vacancy promotion platform
• access to an on-campus recruitment agency to place students in temporary roles
• opportunities to recruit for internships and other forms of work-integrated learning
• a chance to shape curriculum learning outcomes that will develop the employability of students and graduates
