Adoption Counts is our Regional Adoption Agency, set up in 2017 to cover the adoption services for five local authorities: Cheshire East Council, Manchester City Council, Salford City Council, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and Trafford Council.

Through Adoption Counts, we are able to:

  • increase the number of children adopted
  • reduce the length of time children wait to be adopted
  • improve the support families for adoptive families
