Health visiting service: contact at 2 years

Logo - Northern Care Alliance

When your child is between 2 and 2½ years, a member of our team will send you a questionnaire to complete and an appointment to visit you at home.

If you have any concerns about your child’s progress, or if your child has any specific health or development needs, further support and advice will be given. Please contact your 0-19 team.

This will help you to think about the stage your child is at and what you can do to help their development.

If your child attends any early years setting (including nursery, preschool, or child-minder) the information from the review will be shared with the setting. The 0-19 Service link with nurseries in the local area and have integrated meetings to discuss the progress of your child.

This will help us to have a good understanding of your child’s health and development and consider any support that may be helpful.

If you have any concerns about your child’s progress, or if your child has any specific health or development needs, a member of our team can offer further assessment and advice. Please contact your 0-19 team

The Baby Check App - The Lullaby Trust

The Baby Check App features 19 simple checks that parents can do if their baby is showing signs of illness. Each check tests for a different symptom and when completed a score is calculated that tells parents or carers how ill their baby is. The app then lets parents know whether their baby needs to see a doctor or a health professional.
