The session will cover what we mean by ‘anxiety’ and ‘low mood’, how they can present and ways in which we can support children and young people experiencing them. We will also consider the difficulties school staff can face when working with those experiencing anxiety or low mood and how the wellbeing of staff is supported during this work. The session will also involve a number of activities and discussions to share best practice and strategies.
