In the early noughties, we started to look at Pendleton in a different way. We began to think how we could revive it. So bound together by loose associations, we looked at existing buildings and spaces. We started to begin to design a plan to stitch the place back together. We weren't sure where that would take us but we had a wholehearted belief in the place, in the people, in how it could be. It is An Ideal for Living. Why not take a look?

Residents were involved in developing plans for the area. Kevin Farrell, an Independent Community Advisor from TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) has been supporting residents through this. Kevin said: "We are not aware of any other housing scheme that has involved residents in procurement to the extent that the residents of Pendleton have been involved."
