Join us for three days of unmissable fun and entertainment as the Eccles Festival returns for the August Bank Holiday.

Over the three days, there will be a range of activities for all the family to enjoy including face painting, balloon making and an artist’s history exhibition around the mall. During the day, meet local mascots and street entertainers.

There will be various performances across the weekend from local artists such as Martin Boswell, Sarah Dennis and the local Irish Dancing Group, Full line.

What's happening day by day

Friday 25 August, 10am to 4pm

  • 'We Live Here' Art Trail (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
  • Fairground at the Eccles Recreation Ground, M30 0FW (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
  • Activities at Eccles Library, M30 0TU

Saturday 26 August 10am to 4pm (Activities located in Eccles Town Centre)

  • Singers: Amy Faulkner, Martin Boswell and Sarah Dennis
  • Dancers: Irish Dancers, Yemeni Traditional Dance and Pure DanceWorkz
  • Entertainment: Balloon maker, face painting, street robot, Tiny G DJ, mascots, Barton Belles at the ECHO, Barton Theatre company Wakes production
  • Children activities: Children's crafting, various art demonstrations, art and craft gazebo, conversation bench, photography tent, book benches
  • £1 Swim at Eccles Leisure Centre
  • 10% off Continental Pizza
  • A variety of stalls, Eccles Parish Church Café, fairground and more!
