Who are Salford Loaves & Fishes?

We are here to help and support homeless and vulnerable people in Salford. This includes people who may be rough sleeping, sofa surfing or struggling to keep your home for any reason.

We also have a Skills for Life Centre that is open daily, the timetable changes depending on courses but sessions/activities include:

  • Monday - Arts and Craft Groups
  • Tuesday – Housing Advice and Support (Housing Advisors to help you)
  • Wednesday – Supporting people into employment and training
  • Thursday morning – ESOL (English for speakers of other languages)
  • Thursday afternoon – IT training courses
  • Friday morning – Yoga

The drop-in sessions are open Monday to Friday 9am to 12.30pm. The activities are until 3pm and afternoon sessions are by appointment only.

Support available

Individual support workers are available and will help you to get in touch with other services, for example: Housing Advisors, GP, Citizens Advice, Salford Foodbank and Achieve (Salford Recovery Services – offer support to remain drug and alcohol free).

We also offer skills building, digital support, 1-1 support and much more.

We also offer a hot lunch at 12pm everyday as well as hot and cold drinks in the morning.

Emergency clothing and toiletries are also available.
