To extend the permitted hours for the provision of live music and the closing times of the venue on weekends only, as follows:

  • Fridays and Saturdays: Live music to end by 04:00.
  • Sundays: Live music to end by 01:00.

All weekday hours (Monday to Thursday) are to remain unchanged, with live music ending by 23:30 and the venue closing by midnight. Non-standard extensions are also requested until 04:00 for select bank holidays and festive occasions (Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve) when they fall on weekdays or Sundays.

Performance of live music indoors

Live music will consist of small-scale performances and DJ sets (primarily DJ sets) ranging across all musical genres, taking place indoors, to a maximum capacity of 60 people. These will be part of both the studio sessions/ rehearsals or community-led events and will remain at an appropriate volume and the live music will not extend beyond 04:00am on Friday and Saturday, and people will vacate the premises by 04:15am. Sunday, Live music will not extend beyond 01:00am and people will vacate the premises by 01:15am.

General - all four licensing objectives

The premises will operate with a strong management system to ensure the promotion of all four licensing objectives at all times, particularly during late-night trading hours. The measures that will be implemented are outlined below.

The prevention of crime and disorder
  • A comprehensive CCTV system will be installed and maintained, covering all customer areas inside and outside the premises, with recordings retained for a minimum of 28 days and made available to Police upon request.
  • Staff will be trained to operate a strict Challenge 25 policy for age verification and to refuse service where appropriate.
  • An incident and refusal register will be kept on site and maintained by staff at all times.
  • Staff will be trained to identify and report suspicious or disorderly behaviour immediately.
  • A zero tolerance policy will be in place for violence, drug use, or antisocial behaviour.
Public safety
  • The premises will operate within the maximum safe occupancy limits at all times.
  • Staff will have health and safety training, including emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Fire safety equipment and emergency lighting will be maintained and regularly checked.
  • Clear access and exit routes will be maintained at all times.
  • Where necessary, additional staff will be deployed during busy late-night trading periods to ensure safe operation.
The prevention of public nuisance
  • Customers will be encouraged to leave the premises in a quiet and orderly manner, particularly during late night hours.
  • A dispersal policy will be implemented to minimise noise and disturbance to local residents.
  • Staff will actively monitor outside areas to discourage loitering or congregation near the premises.
  • Litter control measures will be in place, with regular cleaning of the immediate vicinity of the premises.
  • Deliveries, waste removal, and operational activities will be managed to avoid disturbance to nearby properties.
The protection of children from harm
  • A strict Challenge 25 policy will be enforced at all times, with acceptable forms of identification required for proof of age.
  • Staff will be trained in age verification procedures and refusal of service where appropriate.
  • No alcohol sales will be made to persons under the legal age under any circumstances.
  • The premises will ensure that any age-restricted products or activities are properly controlled.
