| The prevention of crime and disorder |
A high definition CCTV camera system will be installed, covering both the front and rear entrances as well as all public areas. Recordings will be maintained for 31 days and will be made available to Greater Manchester Police or Council officers upon request. An incident log / accident book will be kept onsite to record any incidents, complaints or accidents and will be made available to authorised officers upon request. |

All staff will be trained in fire escape procedures, with the training documented and refreshed every 6 months. Fire safety equipment will be located throughout the property, including illuminated fire exit signs, fire extinguishers, smoke/heat detectors, fire blankets and manual call points linked to a central fire control panel. A first aid kit will be kept and maintained onsite. The customer area will be kept clean and maintained throughout the opening hours, with bins regularly checked and emptied. Staff will also clear up any discarded takeaway litter in the immediate vicinity of the shop. |
| The prevention of public nuisance |
Sufficient waste bins will be provided in the customer area and at/near the exit. Staff will conduct frequent checks on the bin levels and will empty as and when required. A new extraction system has been installed to the rear of the property, to meet planning standards, conforming to the Council requirements for both noise and odour levels. Deliveries and waste collection will not occur during late-night hours. Clear, prominent notices will be displayed near to the exit, requesting that customers leave quietly and respect local residents and businesses at all times. |
