The prevention of crime and disorder

I will operate responsibly, check ID strictly for all age-restricted products, keep clear CCTV covering the shop entrance and sales area, maintain good lighting inside and outside the premises, and report any suspicious activity or anti-social behaviour to the police immediately. I will also follow all licensing laws and not sell to anyone who is drunk 

Public safety

The shop will be kept clean, tidy, and free from obstructions at all times. All electrical equipment and fixtures will be regularly checked and maintained by qualified people. Fire exits will remain clear, and I will keep appropriate fire safety equipment in good working order. Only customers purchasing goods will enter the shop 

The prevention of public nuisance

All sales are for takeaway only no alcohol will be consumed inside or immediately outside the shop. I will keep noise levels low, keep the shop exterior clean, and will not operate outside the agreed opening hours. I will respect the local community and nearby residents. 

The protection of children from harm

I will always ask for official ID from anyone who appears under 25 years old before selling alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, or any age restricted items. I will display clear age verification signs at the counter, and will never sell restricted products to children or anyone buying on their behalf
