The prevention of crime and disorder

We intend to train all staff to be able to handle difficult situations, professionally and calmly in order to prevent escalation of conflicts. They will also be trained in recognising signs of intoxication and will take necessary action such as denying the sale of alcohol and offering water to any guests who require it.

An incident reporting system will be put in place. Staff will be supported by management and clear processes will be implemented for reporting any crime and disorder. Any issues will be dealt with promptly.

CCTV cameras will be in place both inside and outside of the building, aiding identification in the event of any criminal activity and also to act as a deterrence.

Public safety

A clear set of safety policies will be implemented at Tee Club.

Staff will receive first aid training and a Fire Marshall will be on site during opening hours. Regular training in health and safety will be offered to staff from a first aid instructor. Staff will be trained in emergency protocols such as evacuation procedures.

Very clear guidelines will be put in place so that staff do not serve alcohol to customers who are over-intoxicated.

Strict ID checks will also be in place using the Challenge 25 policy.

The prevention of public nuisance

We will set clear volume limits on audio for the simulators, music and TV screens to avoid disturbing neighbours or other customers.

Our closing time will be 22:00. Staff will be mindful when leaving the premises that people are living nearby and will keep noise to a minimum. Emptying of bins and other noisy jobs will not be carried out at unsociable hours.

We will have a clear code of conduct not just for the staff but also as to what is expected from customers.

Anti-social and unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated. There will be clear guidelines in place for staff to follow if they feel customers are not respecting the environment, other customers, staff and neighbours.

Customers will be denied entry if we are exceeding capacity numbers and a reservation and booking system is in place for the golf bays to reduce overcrowding.

The protection of children from harm

Children are welcome at Tee Club, we want to encourage the participation of golf at all levels and ages.

Golf professionals are on site to teach and monitor that equipment is being used appropriately.

The Challenge 25 policy will be in place to ensure that no one under the age of 18 is served alcohol.
