Salford Health and Wellbeing Board is conducting a new Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) for Salford. The first part of this assessment involves gathering feedback from the public regarding pharmacy services. The survey is now ready for you to complete on the button below.
Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment survey
The PNA is a legal requirement for Salford Health and Wellbeing Board. However, by sharing your opinions, you can help ensure that the pharmacy services in Salford are tailored to meet the needs of residents. Your responses will assist us in identifying any gaps in services and could influence future decisions regarding changes in pharmacy provision.
We would greatly appreciate your support in promoting the survey within your networks to encourage as many responses as possible. Your contacts and understanding of the communities across Salford will be invaluable!
The assessment helps us to identify any potential gaps in pharmaceutical service delivery. For example, NHS England will use the PNA to help decide whether to approve applications for new pharmacies in Salford.
The latest PNA documents were updated on 1 October 2022 and are available to download below. In addition, supplementary statements to support the PNA will also be published by the council if pharmacy provision or the population's health needs change.
