Learning from each other

Below are quotes from young people involved in the project:

“Some people paint us all with the same brush.”

“We have so much history and traditions going through the family we want to carry on with our own families when we are older.”

“No-one understands our culture and history and no-one respects it.”

“I feel proud of what we’ve made.”

“I love travelling around and not being settled for too long!”

“It’s made me realise that we have different histories and ways of living but we are all human beings at the end of the day.”

“Don’t judge a book by its cover.”
