2Management of the Meeting

So as to make sure that sufficient time is allowed for all items to be discussed Members are asked to indicate , by show of hands , if they wish to raise any items of additional business towards the end of the meeting .
3Membership of the Committee

Residents on the Parkfield Estate are in the process of establishing a Residents' Association . In the meantime they have formed a Residents' Group and nominated Martin O'Neill to represent them as a voting member of the Committee.

5Matters Arising

Minute 61 refers : Details of the action taken by the GMP to deal with vandalisation of vehicles on the Parksfield Estate are set out in the enclosed note.

Minute 62 refers : The Neighbourhood Manager will give an update on action taken with regard to the priorities identified for inclusion in the CAP during the consultation event in December, 2004.

Minute 65 refers : Jean Colpitts , Primary Care Development Manager for the North Locality ( Swinton and Pendlebury ) , and Jack Sharp , Head of Operations for the Locality , will represent the Primary Care Trust at the meeting to respond to comments about time taken to get a GP appointment in the area and outline the Trust's long-term plans for health services in Swinton

6Recrutiment of Magistrates

Derek Osbaldestin , JP and Chair of the Greater Manchester Police Authority , will make a short presentation on the role of Magistrates with a view to encouraging greater participation

8Landlord Licensing

Members will be given a brief summary of H M Government's proposals for introducing management standards for private landlords and be given details of the approach in Salford and of any sanctions .

Tim Jones , Principal Planner (Environment and Projects ) , will give an update so as to assist the Committee in monitoring progress on these projects .

(a)To consider the recommendations of the Budget Sub Group made on 25th January , 2005, with regard to applications for funding under the Devolved and the Community Use of Schools Budgets.
