11 | Communiciation with Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust Governors The Governors of the Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust are trying to establish two-way communication between the Trust and the local community which it serves. The Trust feels that the best way of achieving this objective is via the Community Committee network . There are two Trustees for each area and Members are asked to consider if they would like to invite those who serve this area to attend a future meeting to explain their role and seek opinions on how best they can liase with the community . |
12 | Salford Garden Party Enclosed are details of the Salford Garden Party which will be held from 12pm - 4pm on Saturday 15 September 2007 on the Lawns at the front of the Salford Civic Centre on Chorley Road , Swinton . All are welcome to this free event which offers all sorts of entertainment including a fun fair, live music, games , circus skills , dance lessons and more . For those members of the Community Committee who are willing to take a more active role in the event there are two opportunities to do so Exhibition opportunity for local community groups - this is particularly relevant to the Swinton area as it offers community groups the chance to hold an exhibit to raise the local awareness of their group and engage with the community. Any community group wishing to do so is asked to complete and return the form included with the agenda by no later than 15th August , 2007 ( or hand them to the Committee Officer on the night of the meeting ) The Big Ask - all Salford residents are encouraged to ask Salford City Council a question. It can be on any subject but must be submitted by no later than 1st September. The best will be answered at the Salford Garden Party with the persons submitting them each receiving £20 .
