Ceremonial Mayor's charity events

The Ceremonial Mayor for the year 2024 to 2025, Councillor Tanya Burch, is busy working with her Charity Committee to get some fabulous events organised. See below for what's coming up!

Sponsored parachute jump

On Saturday 31 August, the Ceremonial Mayor is going to new heights to raise money for her charity appeal! Madam Mayor will be joined by Vikas Shah MBE, Deputy Lieutenant for Greater Manchester, and his wife Rachel in doing a tandem skydive to raise money for the charities supported this year.

Please see the details at the bottom of this page to make a donation and support these three amazing people in their bravery– going above and beyond to raise as much as they can for two very worthy causes.
