Salford City Council is asking for the views of residents and businesses in the Broughton Park area of the city on the proposal for a Parish Council or other community governance arrangements.
The proposal has been put forward through a validated petition which means the council must undertake a community governance review to consult with local people. The council is writing to everyone who lives or has a business in the affected area, setting out how they can respond.
