GGI is a rapidly expanding company in the energy efficiency sector aiming to become the number 1 retrofit installer in the Northwest within the next 5 years. We are accredited installers of every type of energy efficient measure, and we install under multiple government and private schemes such as SHDF & ECO schemes.

We are looking for an individual with initiative, comfortable with working at height and an interest in learning new skills. You will have experience in cavity wall insulation ideally with a level 2 NVQ in Loft (Cold Roof) Insulation or the willingness to learn this while working.

If you have the willingness to learn new skills, GGI is the company for you with most of our employees having completed NVQ’s/ Diplomas and many more courses they have shown interest in. We believe in upskilling our employees as far as they would like to go.

The role - What you’ll be doing

• Installing cavity wall insulation (including working at heights)
• Extracting cavity wall insulation
• Carrying out pre and post AKOPS checks
• Working alone or as a member of a team
• Pointing brickwork

What we’re looking for:

• A full UK Drivers Licence (required)
• Greater Manchester: able to commute (required)
• Level 2 NVQ in Cavity Wall Insulation (preferred)
• AKOPS qualification (preferred)
• Understanding of Health and Safety legislation (preferred)
• Basic DBS check (required)
• Able to work well individually and liaise with our team
• Organised individual with attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively
