Course description

More and more children are being diagnosed with autism and many of their diagnoses are being made early on in their childhood. This course will raise your awareness of what autism is and some of the typical support children with autism require.

Outcomes

• To understand the key features of autism
• Myth busting around autism
• Understanding typical support needs of children with autism
• Where to signpost for further information and support.
