Course description:

This course will provide an understanding of the AET standards sharing good practice in all of the four areas, and also what your setting will need to evidence to gain the accreditation.

It would provide a rationale around why we are using the standards and why it’s important that practitioners have an insight into these.

It will ensure that practitioners are aware of the importance of the equality act 2010 and how it links to the AET standards.

Outcomes:

  • To understand the expectations required to gain the accreditation.
  • Staff team to all understand their roles and responsibilities in supporting the accreditation process.
  • Staff to be confident to share information about the accreditation process with their team.
  • Staff to understand how to develop the portfolio of evidence.
