Course description:

More and more children are being diagnosed with autism and many of their diagnoses are being made early on in their childhood. This course will give you practical strategies to support these children in your setting. There is an increased need for early year’s practitioners to feel confident enough to support these children through effective differentiation and planning. 

Outcomes:

• Give you an insight into autism
• Using the observation profile
• Interventions within the setting and theory behind interventions
• Looking through the ‘Autism Lens’
• Using the observation profile
• Understanding typical needs of children with autism
• Where to signpost for further information and support
