Course description

The Autism Friendly Setting training is suitable for Early years settings in Salford who want to develop their understanding and practice in meeting the needs of children with Autism. This training is suitable for settings with higher levels of need in this area, who would benefit from more in-depth understanding around autism and the opportunity to reflect on and discuss how to support these needs within their setting. The course comprises of three sessions, delegates must attend all three sessions.

Outcomes

  • To develop practitioner knowledge and confidence in supporting autistic children.
  • To support practitioners in planning for the effective inclusion of autistic children in their settings.
