Course description

This course will support Early Years Practitioners in identifying and supporting the challenging behaviours of young children. The course will look at identifying triggers, effective behaviour management strategies and the use of additional tools.

Outcomes

• Practitioners will have the knowledge of identifying triggers of young children’s behaviours.
• Practitioners will learn how to use different strategies and implement additional tools to monitor behaviour.
• Practitioners will learn the importance of consistency of practice within the setting and across the staff team.
• Practitioners will value and work in partnership with parents /carers.
