Course description:

This course will support designated safeguarding leads to understand their roles and responsibilities within the wider safeguarding remit.

The course covers: Salford priorities, building a safeguarding culture, safer recruitment, policies and procedures, working with safeguarding agencies, referring and escalating concerns, managing and monitoring allegations against staff

Outcomes:

Participants gain a wide understanding and robust knowledge of safeguarding procedures and skills to be an effective designated safeguarding lead practitioner
