Course description

A bespoke training sessions for all PVIs across Salford to explore and understand the use of the Early Help Assessment and Team Around the family. Incorporating the use of the EHA alongside the SEND graduated response and the Support and Safeguarding guidance.

Outcomes

  • To have knowledge of the Early Help Assessment and how this can support exploration of a family’s strength and needs.
  • To consider how we work together with families to identify desired changes, potential actions and how they will be implemented.
  • Understanding and exploring the differences between ‘Getting Help’ and ‘Getting More Help’ levels of the Support and Safeguarding Guidance.
  • To have knowledge of why review the Family Plan, and how we use the Team Around the Family meetings to do this.
