Course description:

  • To have knowledge of the Early Help Assessment and how this can support exploration of a family’s strengths, needs and develop the Family Plan. 
  • Understanding and exploring the differences between ‘Getting Help’ and ‘Getting More Help’ levels of the Support and Safeguarding Guidance. 
  • Clarification of how an Early Help Assessment can be used to support an application to the Early Years SEND Inclusion Fund.
  • To have knowledge of why we review the Family Plan and how we use the Team Around the Family meetings to do this.
