Course description:

This course will support your understanding of the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process and will support you to complete the paperwork required to go through this process when applying to the local authority.

Outcomes:

• To ensure that the graduated approach has been followed appropriately.
• To understand your role and responsibilities in the identification and support of children with complex needs.
• To ensure you are familiar with the evidence needed to make a request for an Education Health and Care Plan.
• To be aware of Salford systems in referring for an Education Health and Care Plan.

Any completed EHCP paperwork
