This network meeting is an opportunity for leaders and managers to discuss and share ideas and examples of good practice when leading your setting. This session will focus on Relationships. 

Outcomes:

  • To reflect on how early years settings build effective partnerships with parents, foster positive interactions with children and maintain healthy, supportive relationships within your staff teams 
  • Share ideas from other providers for practical strategies that promote communication and consistency in your setting
  • Highlight the responsibility of leaders and managers in observing, monitoring, supporting and strengthening these relationships in line with best practice 
  • Developing warm, responsive relationships with children and the role of the key person 
  • Creating a collaborative and respectful team culture
  • To explore effective partnership working with external agencies and understand how multi agency collaboration enhances support for children and families 
  • To understand the benefits of monitoring relational practice and its impact on staff performance and the quality of the setting
