Course description:

This course will support Early Years Practitioners in their understanding of Play Plans including what Play Plans are, how they are implemented and their role within the Graduated Approach.

Outcomes:

• Practitioners will gain an understanding of how to observe, assess, plan and record information for children with Special Educational Needs.​
• Practitioners will learn how to set SMART realistic and achievable goals for children and be confident in breaking down tasks into manageable steps to enable progress in learning.​
• Practitioners will develop an understanding of how crucial play plans are in meeting the graduated approach.
• Practitioners will learn of the importance of working in partnership with parents and other professionals.​
