Course description:

This session will explore what is meant by a trauma informed/ relational approach and the evidence base underlying the approach. The session will also consider why it is important for supporting and understanding behaviour and emotions in settings. We will also consider how the use of a relational approach to inclusion can be utilised in your setting.

Outcomes:

  • Increasing practitioners understanding of the use of trauma-informed/relational approaches
  • Increasing practitioners understanding of strategies that can be utilised to support the use of trauma-informed/relational approaches in their setting
