Audience:

EYFS practitioners and other professionals working with children aged 0 to 5.

Course description:

An integrated universal training session about speech, language and communication for people working with children under five years of age.

As part of the WellComm project, group settings may book a free four week weekly block of in-setting support from the Communication Development Workers following their attendance at this course.  This will further develop Child/ Adult interactions and improve communication friendly provision.

  • Understanding of what communication is
  • Understanding the role of tool such as ECAT and WellComm in monitoring and supporting children’s communication skills

  • Knowledge of the top tips to use to develop communication skills
