Three and four year olds network meeting - PD and UW focus

Audience:

Practitioners working with three and four year olds in PVIs and Schools  

Course description:

To provide an opportunity for practitioners working with three and four year old children to reflect on implementing the EYFS framework, including assessment practices. Delegates will take part in professional discussions with other Reception teachers, be encouraged to ask questions, share good practice and network across settings and schools.

The course will include:

  • Discussion on classroom interactions
  • Formative assessment
  • Child initiated and focused teaching
  • Discussing PD and UW areas of Learning and sharing good practice ideas in both of these areas

If you wish to bring any resources, for example floor books, planning, photos etc as an aide memoire to share good practice with others, please feel free to do so.

Outcomes:

  • Better understanding of the EYFS curriculum and more ideas for implementation

Course length:

10am to 12pm (tea and coffee will also be served part way through the morning)
