Three and four year olds network meeting - PSED

Practitioners working with three and four year olds in PVIs and Schools  

Course description:

This course provides an opportunity for practitioners working with three and four-year-old children to reflect on their implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, including effective assessment practices. Participants will engage in professional dialogue with colleagues from a range of nursery settings and schools, enabling them to ask questions, share effective practice, and strengthen professional networks.

The course will include:

  • Developing and enhancing high-quality interactions

  • Effective formative assessment

  • Child-initiated learning and focused teaching approaches

This session will have a particular focus on PSED, while also considering links to other areas of learning.

If you wish to bring any resources, e.g. floor books, planning, photos etc to support professional discussion and to share good practice with others, please feel free to do so.

Outcomes:

  • Better understanding of the EYFS curriculum and more ideas for implementation
