WellComm Refresher

Audience:

Early Years Practitioners who lead WellComm or use WellComm.

Course description:

This course will support Early Years Practitioners who are already using WellComm. The aim of the session is to refresh practitioners, update knowledge and answer any questions about using WellComm.

Please note that this session is not appropriate for practitioners who are new to WellComm – anyone who needs initial WellComm training should book on ‘Talking Together’ which includes a session on WellComm.

Outcomes:

By the end of the session delegates will be:

• Refreshed knowledge of importance of supporting children’s Communication and Language development
• Better understanding of how to use the Big Book of ideas effectively
• Better understanding of who to screen and when to screen
• Better understanding of how to use WellComm with children for whom English is an additional language
