The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is run jointly by the leaders of the ten councils and the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.

Alongside his role of representing the city of Salford at the GMCA, Paul Dennett is the Deputy Mayor and portfolio holder for Housing First.
