Free Wi-Fi is now installed in many public buildings in Salford.
In addition to the list of sites below, the service is also available in some care homes, day centres and in the community rooms of many of the Salix Housing and Pendleton Together properties. If you are a Salix or Pendleton Together resident then please speak to your local housing representative to find out what is available where you live.
To access the free Wi-Fi:
- Select 'Freebee' from the list of Wi-Fi networks (select the automatically connect for when you want to use the service again in the future)
- Open a web browser and enter a new web site address
- Complete the form with your name, email address and post code
- Select GO
- Open another browser window and go the chosen web page
If you use the service again your device should automatically connect to freebee. When you open a web browser you will be taken to the freebee registration screen but your details should be already included from when you registered. Select GO.
