Walkden Gateway is not a walk in centre, most of the health service clinics held here are by appointment only. Patients are referred to these services from a variety of sources including doctors and other health professionals.
Audiology is not a drop in or self referral service. New patients are accepted following referral from a general practitioner and existing hearing aid users are seen by appointment only. The contact details for appointments and general audiology enquiries are:
Hearing aid batteries can be collected from the ground floor reception desk. Please bring your brown hearing aid record book with you.

The drop in baby clinic is held every Monday from 9.30am to 11.30am. Please book in at the ground floor reception on arrival.
The emergency podiatry clinic is held every Wednesday afternoon from 1.30pm to 3.00pm for patients who have painful foot problems and are unable to wait for a routine appointment. If you feel you need to attend the emergency clinic please ring 0161 206 2151 before 11am on the day you wish to attend. This clinic can be busy and you may have to wait. Please report to the ground floor reception on arrival.
The weekly foot care clinic costs £15 per session and is held every Tuesday afternoon. It can be attended by patients who have been discharged and no longer meet NHS criteria for free treatment. Please ring 0161 206 2151 to make an appointment.
The stop smoking advisors run a friendly drop in service every Wednesday evening from 4.30pm and 6.30pm. Alternatively you can book a one to one session at a time and place to suit you by calling 0800 952 1000.
The contraception and sexual health clinic provides contraception, emergency contraception, free condoms, pregnancy testing, sexual health advice and screening. A clinic for adults is held every Tuesday from 2pm to 7.15pm and every Saturday from 9.15am to 12.20pm. A walk in clinic for under 19s is held every Saturday from 9.15am to 12.20pm.
