Tell us you are living alone or if you no longer live alone
The full council tax bill is based on two adults (over the age of 18) living together. The bill does not increase if more than two adults live at the same address.
You may therefore be eligible for a 25% discount if you live alone.

Tell us if an adult or adults you live with shouldn’t be counted for council tax
Some adults are not counted when calculating council tax because of their circumstances.
The link below has information about when an adult is not counted and how to apply for a discount because you are the only adult in your household that should be counted for council tax purposes.
