Computers at Salford libraries are FREE to use. If you need help using them then please ask a member of staff or find out about beginner's computer classes available.
Free Wi-Fi also available in many public buildings in Salford!
Colour or black and white printing is also available for a small charge and some libraries have scanners for you to scan your documents and photos. You can even download files from the internet and save them onto your own memory stick.
All computers are accessible for all with screen magnifier, text to speech software, adapted keyboards and height adjustable desks.
Children can also use the computers, we just ask for parental consent and that children aged up to seven years are accompanied by a parent or carer.
You do not need to book (although it is advisable at busy periods) and there are self-service terminals in most libraries. You can book a computer online up to one week in advance. Please check library opening hours before booking a computer.
Remember to bring your membership card. If you are not a member it’s easy to join.
