One in three adults aged over 65 in Salford will experience a fall at least once a year. Falls can be life-changing, costing people their health and independence.
That’s why Salford City Council, NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and City West housing have launched a joint campaign to raise awareness of how to reduce the risks.
If you’re at risk of falling or know someone who might be please check out our tips.
There’s a poster on how to spot simple hazards that might cause a fall and a poster with gentle, daily exercises that will help your strength and balance.
