Alley gating: report a fault with a gate or key

Alley gating is a simple method of restricting access to the rear of your property by erecting lockable gates at the end of your alley.

This makes it harder for burglars to break in to your home and also creates a safe communal area for residents.

So far Salford has carried out over 400 alley gating schemes across the city covering more than 9,000 properties.
