Summer programme for 16-18s

Our summer programme is an exciting opportunity for young people aged 16-18, living in Salford who are not currently in education, employment, or training.

Throughout July and August, we will be hosting a number of free sessions where young people can learn new skills, meet new people and build confidence, helping them prepare for their next step.  

There is also up to £100 in gift vouchers available based on attendance.

What’s on?

We have a number of four-week programmes throughout July and August:

She’s Punching: Boxing, Fitness and Wellbeing activities

• Wednesday 19 July to 9 August 2023, 10am to 2pm

Girls are invited to join our wellbeing sessions to support emotional health and learn boxing techniques and improve fitness. Lunch is provided and there is up to £100 in gift vouchers available based on attendance.

Sessions will take place every Wednesday until Wednesday 2 August. Sessions will then take place from Monday 7 August to Wednesday 9 August.

Riding to Success with Manchester Bike Kitchen

• Tuesday 8 August to 23 August 2023, 10am to 1pm

An exciting cycling programme incorporating bicycle maintenance, cycle training and a chance to develop teamwork and self-confidence.

Sessions will run every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Make-Up for Instagram

• Thursday 27 July to 17 August 2023, 10am to 3pm

A four week programme learning different techniques, styles and tips for make-up application. After the completion of the programme, keep your make-up starter kit and a £25 gift voucher.

Sessions will take place every Thursday.

Tattoo and Graffiti Art Workshop

• 2 August to 23 August 2023, 11am to 2pm

Get creative and come along to a free afternoon creating tattoo and graffiti art and designs

Pamper and Polish

• Tuesday 1 August to Tuesday 22 August 2023, 11am to 2pm

Enjoy a day of pampering, where you can get your hair styled and nails painted or even a head and shoulder massage.
