New Barton Street area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The title and effects of the Orders is as follows:

Proposed No Waiting At Any Time on:

Park Lane 

  • North east 10m south west from the south easterly projected kerbline of Stapleton Street for 10m south easterly
  • North east side 10m south westerly from the north westerly projected kerbline of New Barton Street to a point 10m south east from the south easterly projected kerbline of New Barton Street
  • North east side 10m south west from the north westerly projected kerbline of Saxby Street to a point 10m south east from the south easterly projected kerbline of Saxby Street
  • North west side 10m south west from the north westerly projected kerbline of Helena Street to a point 10m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Helena Street
  • North west side, from a point 10m south west from the north westerly projected kerbline of New Herbert Street to a point 10m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of New Herbert Street
  • Both sides from its junction with Claremont Road for 10m.

Stapleton Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with Park Lane for 10m north easterly
  • South west from 5m west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street to a point 5m north east from the south easterly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street
  • North west from its junction with the westerly projected kerbline of Claremont Road for 10m south westerly
  • South east side from its junction with the westerly projected kerbline of Claremont Road for 10m south westerly 
  • South east side from 10m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Claremont Road and unnamed highway 10m north east of the north easterly projected kerbline of Claremont Road and unnamed highway R/O 10/20

New Barton Street

  • Both sides, from Park Lane for 10m north easterly
  • North west, from 10m south west from the north westerly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street 10m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street
  • South west from 10m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street to a point 10m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street
  • South east side from Claremont Road for 10m south westerly
  • North west side from the western extended kerbline of Claremont Road for 32m south westerly

Saxby Street

  • Both sides, from Park Lane for 10m north easterly
  • North west side, from 10m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Pomfret Street 10m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Promfret Street
  • South west side, from 10m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Rattenbury Court to a point 10m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Rattenbury Court

  • its junction with Saxby Street for 10m north westerly direction
  • its junction with New Barton Street for 10m north westerly direction;
  • its junction with Stapleton Street for 10m south easterly

Rattenbury Court

  • Both sides from its junction with Saxby Street for 10m south easterly

Helena Street

Both sides from:

  • its junction with Saxby Street for 10m south easterly
  • its junction with Park Lane for 10m north westerly

New Herbert Street

Both sides from:

  • its junction with Park Lane for 10m north westerly
  • its junction with Saxby Street for 10m south easterly

No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Monday to Friday, 8am and 5pm on:

Park Lane

North east side from:

  • a point 2.5m north west of the extended kerbline of Stapleton Street, north westerly for 32m
  • 33m north east of the extended kerbline of Stapleton Street north westerly for 38m

Swinton Park Road

  • North side, from 26m west of its junction with the westerly projected kerbline of Delamere Avenue, for 27m westerly.
