Amersham Park Road and Graythorpe Walk area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The title and effects of the orders is as follows:

City of Salford (Amersham Park Road including the surrounding streets) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2022

No Waiting at Any Time:

Amersham Park Road

  • Both sides, from its junction with the east projected kerbline of Langworthy Road, for 59.8m in an east then south east direction.
  • North side, from a point 8.1m west from the west projected kerbline of St Ambrose Lane, to a point 13.8m east from the east projected kerbline of St Ambrose Lane.
  • North side, from the west projected kerbline of Florin Lane, for 10.8m in a west direction.
  • North side, from the east projected kerbline of Florin Lane for 6.6m in an east direction.
  • North side, from a point 5.1m west of the west projected kerbline of Langshaw Street, for 22.6m in an east direction.
  • North side, from a point 10m west of the west projected kerbline of Athole Street, for 26m in an east direction.

Brown Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Amersham Park Road, for 10m in a north direction.
  • East side, from its junction with Blodwell Street, for 4.3m in a south direction.

Blodwell Street

  • South side, from its junction with Brown Street, for 6.3m in an east direction.
  • South side, from a point 7.9m west from the west projected kerbline of St Ambrose Lane, to a point 8.1m east from the east projected kerbline of St Ambrose Lane.
  • South side, from a point 10m west from the west projected kerbline of Florin Lane, to a point 10m east from the east projected kerbline of Florin Lane.
  • South side, from a point 9.2m east from the east projected kerbline of Langshaw Street to a point 9.2m west from the west projected kerbline of Langshaw Street, for a distance of 9.2m in an west direction.
  • South side, from its junction with the west projected kerbline of Athole Street, for 10m in a west direction.
  • North side, from its junction with the west projected kerbline of Athole Street, for 10m in a west direction.
  • North side, from a point 9.2m east of the east projected kerbline of Langshaw Street, for 15m in a west direction.
  • North side, from a point 19.2m west of the west projected kerbline of Langshaw Street, for 17m in a west direction.
  • North side, from a point 11.2m east of the east projected kerbline of St Ambrose Lane, for 26.3m in a west direction.

Athole Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Amersham Park Road, for 10m in a north direction.
  • West side, from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Scanlon Lane, for 6.4m in a south direction.
  • West side, from a point 10m north of its junction with the north projected kerbline of Blodwell Street, for 24.6m in a south direction.
  • East side, from a point 11.2m north of its junction with the north projected kerbline of Scanlon Lane, for 23.9m in a south direction.

St Ambrose Lane

  • Both sides, from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Amersham Park Road, for 10m in a north direction.
  • Both sides, from its junction with the south projected kerbline of Blodwell Street, for 10m in a south direction.

Florin Lane

  • Both sides, from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Amersham Park Road, for 10m in a north direction.
  • Both sides, from its junction with the south projected kerbline of Blodwell Street, for 10m in a south direction.

Langshaw Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Amersham Park Road, for 10m in a north direction.

Scanlon Lane

  • Both sides, from its junction with the east projected kerbline of Athole Street, for 11m in an east direction.

  • Both sides, from its junction with Graythorpe Walk for 10m in a north direction.

Sedan Close

  • East side, from its junction with Liverpool Street for 43m in a south direction.
  • West side, from its junction with Liverpool Street for 10m in a south direction.

Graythorpe Walk

  • South side, from its junction with Cross Lane to its junction with Alesbury Close.
  • North side, from its junction with Cross Lane for 8m in a west direction.
  • North side, from a point 10m east from the east projected kerbline of Ewart Avenue to a point 10m west from the west projected kerbline of Ewart Avenue.
  • West and south side, from a point 45m north from the projected kerbline of Aylesbury Close for 32m in a north and then west direction.
  • West side, from its junction with Aylesbury Close for 10m in a north direction.
  • Both sides from its junction with east projected kerbline of Buckingham Street for 7m.

Aylesbury Close

  • Both sides, from its junction with Graythorpe Walk for 23m in a west direction.
  • Both sides, from its junction with Buckingham Street for 13m in an east direction.

Cross Lane

  • South east side, from the south west projected kerbline of Liverpool Street, for 104m in a south west direction.
  • North west side, from the south west projected kerbline of Liverpool Street, for 39m in a south west direction.
  • South east side, from its junction with Graythorpe Walk, for 29m in a north east direction.
  • North west side, from its junction with Graythorpe Walk, for 67m in a north east direction.

Bradden Close

  • Both sides, from its junction with Buckingham Street for 10m in an east direction.

Buckingham Street

  • East side, from a point 10m north from the north projected kerbline of Aylesbury Close to a point 10m south of the south projected kerbline of Aylesbury Close.
  • East side, from the south projected kerbline of Bradden Close for 10m.
  • From a point 10mn north from the north projected kerbline of Graythorpe Walk to a point 10m south from the south projected kerbline of Graythorpe Walk.

No Waiting at any Time:

Highfield Road

  • Both sides, from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Liverpool Street, for 10m in a north direction.

Liverpool Street

  • North side, from its junction with the west projected kerbline of Highfield Road for 10m in a west direction.
  • North side, from its junction with the east projected kerbline of Highfield Road, to its junction with the west projected kerbline of Fitzwarren Street

Restriction of Waiting Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am to 9.30am and 3pm to 6pm:

Liverpool Street

  • North side, from a point 80m east of its junction with Langworthy Road, in an east direction to a point 10m west, of the west projected kerbline of Highfield Road.

Existing orders are to be amended to be consistent with the above proposals.
