Barton Lane

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The title and effects of the Order is as follows:

The City of Salford (Eccles Relief Road and Town Centre Pedestrianisation) Amendment Order 2002 (Amendment) Order 2024 

The Order has been amended to include the following schedules to article 9 to the said Order. No Loading/unloading from any vehicle 7.30am to 9.30am Monday to Saturday and 4pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday on the following lengths of road. 

Barton Lane

• North west side, from Corporation Road to a point 72.5 metres south west from south western extended kerbline of Irwell Place.
• North west side, from the south western extended kerbline of Irwell Place for a distance of 48 metres in a south westerly direction. 

Existing Orders have been amended to be consistent with the proposals. Copies of the proposed Order, plans of the area and statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the above Orders may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
