Barton Road area

Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order will be to introduce:

No waiting at any time 

Barton Road

  • South west side from a point eight metres north west from its junction with the westerly kerbline of Granary Lane in a south easterly direction for a distance of 61 metres.

Granary Lane 

  • Both sides from its junction with Barton Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.

Proposed residents parking

The following lengths of road are authorised to be used as a parking place for use by vehicles displaying a valid parking permit:

Barton Road

  • South west side from a point 18 metres north west from its junction with the western kerbline of Granary Lane in a north westerly direction for a distance of 27 metres.

The properties eligible for parking permits are listed in the Schedule to this notice.

Schedule

All the properties in the following streets are eligible for a residents parking permit: 43, 45, 47, 49, 51 and 53 Barton Road.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 1 August 2019 (quoting ref GS/OUT1093/740).
