Broughton Lane

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of proposed order will be as follows:

No waiting at any time

Broughton Lane

  • North east side; from north of the north west extended kerbline of Rugby Street (city boundary) to a point 50m west of the north west extended kerbline of Great Clowes Street in a north westerly direction.
  • South west side; from north of the north west extended kerbline of Rugby Street (city boundary) for a distance of 54m in a north westerly direction
  • South west side; from a point 169m west of the north west extended kerbline of Rugby Street (city boundary) to a point 50m west of the north west extended kerbline of Great Clowes Street in a north westerly direction.

Limited waiting parking places – Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm

Broughton Lane

  • East of Broughton Lane south west side from a point 54m west of the north west extended kerbline of Rugby Street (city boundary) for a distance of 24.5m in a north westerly direction (2m wide)
  • East of Broughton Lane south west side from a point 90m west of the north west extended kerbline of Rugby Street (city boundary) for a distance of 60m in a north westerly direction (2m wide)
  • East of Broughton Lane from a point 162m west of the north west extended kerbline of Rugby Street (city boundary) for a distance of 7m in a north westerly direction (2m wide)

Existing order is to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 19 September 2019 (quoting ref L/JGL/OUT1094/279).
