Traffic regulation order: Cemetery Road South area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which are as follows:

City of Salford (Cemetery Road South and Hamilton Street, Swinton and Wardley) (Prohibition of Waiting and Amendment) Order 2026

No Waiting at Any Time

Cemetery Road South

  • north west side, from 5m north east of the south westerly projected kerbline of Rutland Street to 10m north of the northerly projected kerbline of Hamilton Street

  • north west side, from the north easterly projected kerbline of Chorley Road for 10m north easterly.

Hamilton Street

  • south and south west side, from the westerly projected kerbline of Cemetery Road South, for 50.5m westerly and then north westerly

  • north side, from the westerly projected kerbline of Cemetery Road South for 10m westerly.

  • both sides, from the north easterly projected kerbline of Hamilton Street for 10m northerly

  • both sides, from the south westerly projected kerbline of Hamilton Street, for 10m south westerly

  • both sides, from the north easterly projected kerbline of Chorley Road for 10m north easterly.

Hamilton Street

  • south west side, from 10m north west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Mulgrave Street to 10m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Mulgrave Street

  • north-east side, from 10m north west of the westerly projected kerbline of Mulgrave Street, to 10m south east of the easterly projected kerbline of Mulgrave Street.

Chorley Road

  • north-east side, from 10m north west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Mulgrave Street, to 8m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Mulgrave Street.
